After over 40 years in children’s publishing, I’ve written something like 350 books, ranging from quick reads to novels, nonfiction, plays, poems, picture books, board books with fancy flaps and reading schemes for schools. That’s with a lot of different publishers and many amazing illustrators… with new books on the way.

Maybe, like me, you’re keen on books of all kinds that spark imagination and excitement for our amazing World Of Wonder – WOW books! (Between you and me, I prefer to call information books ‘WOW books’ rather than nonfiction – but that’s another story). In fact, I’ve had the privilege of exploring so many true wonders to put into words. So that’s another WOW part of my job: Writer Of Words! Or, if you prefer, WOWOWOW (Writer of Words on World of Wonders).
